Description

You will provide technical support for the assembly of transit buses, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to ensure high-efficiency manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, lead projects, mentor junior members, and optimize parts and systems at the component level.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards and practices
• Ability to work with little instruction on day-to-day work
• Professional expertise in industry practices and standards (NFPA, NEC, APTA)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure smooth operations and high-quality outputs
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex engineering challenges
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) input to design teams
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and production performance
• Maintain process documentation to support safety standards
