🎯 What You'll Do

  • Design and lead moderate-complexity research studies capturing physical and emotional dimensions of running.
  • Analyze running behavior through wearable metrics and product usage logs to inform design.
  • Integrate qualitative feedback from surveys to understand runner perceptions of comfort and performance.
  • Communicate findings through visual storytelling and summaries to cross-functional teams.

📋 Requirements

  • Ph.D. in biomechanics, engineering, kinesiology, or related field with 1+ years experience (or M.Sc. +3).
  • 6+ years of experience in performance industry in lieu of graduate degree.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, MATLAB, and Qualtrics for data analysis.
  • Experience with wearable data analysis and translating into research insights.

  • Knowledge of athletic performance and injury prevention.
  • Understanding of running shoe design features and their influence on product experience.
  • Experience presenting scientific principles to both technical and non-technical groups.
