Description

You will lead a mixed-age infant classroom (ages 0–3) in a Montessori environment, preparing the classroom, observing each child, and providing individualized care to nurture independence, curiosity, and confidence. You'll build warm relationships with children and families while collaborating with team members to create a respectful community.

Requirements

• MA EEC Lead Teacher Infant/Toddler certified (LT-I/T)
• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in group care setting
• Alignment with child-led educational philosophies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.)
• ECE or Child Development credits and college degree (child-related field)
• Willingness to pursue Montessori certification through Prepared Montessorian Institute

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Respect and follow each child's natural rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly Montessori environment
• Support independence by encouraging participation in care activities
• Build warm relationships with children and families, partnering with parents
