Description

You will manage the review, coordination, and approval of detailed design packages for solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. As part of the Engineering Strategic Procurement department, you will optimize designs, negotiate key contract exhibits, and support construction and commissioning activities by working with internal teams, EPC contractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• B.S. in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or related field
• Minimum 2+ years solar/BESS industry experience with 1+ year direct EPC experience and 1+ year storage experience
• Understanding of solar and storage project design and optimization trade-offs
• Experience with solar and storage project financing and independent engineer requirements
• Working knowledge of relevant U.S. and IEC equipment standards and codes

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for Development and Construction teams on utility-scale PV, PV+Storage, and standalone storage projects
• Manage resources to obtain final site due diligence and finalize scope, costs, schedule, and energy output
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure design meets contractual and performance requirements
• Develop or evaluate energy input assessments and power output expectations
• Review and negotiate technical aspects of EPC contracts and interconnect agreements
