🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and grow an engineering team in Sydney: hire, coach, mentor, and develop engineers.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Create team vision, define goals, prioritize work, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff engineers on architecture and strategic technical decisions.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in engineering management.
• Deep background in performance, efficiency, and capacity planning of large-scale infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS), Compute, Linux, Storage, and languages (Go, Ruby, Java).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed caching and DocumentDB.
• Track record of leading remote and distributed teams.
