You'll lead the Developer Environments team at Affirm, building ephemeral environments used by 800+ engineers. Your work will directly improve developer velocity and reliability across the company. This role offers high impact in a hypergrowth FinTech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and drive vision for Developer Environments and inner-loop productivity
• Design and operate scalable, reliable ephemeral environment systems
• Improve environment provisioning, stability, and teardown workflows
• Partner with engineering leadership and stakeholder teams

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• Experience leading teams in infrastructure or developer productivity
• Strong background in backend/infrastructure systems (Python/Kotlin)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building ephemeral or remote development environments
• Background in test automation or developer tooling
• Familiarity with Terraform/Helm
