💼 About This Role

You'll be a key member of DigitalOcean's security team, collaborating to design and implement infrastructure security solutions at scale. You'll identify and mitigate security issues, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations for both internal users and customers. This role offers the chance to build early warning systems and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced cloud environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with engineering teams to harden accounts and platforms
• Develop early warning systems to detect and mitigate risks
• Own vulnerability management and patching for VMs, containers, and Kubernetes
• Manage security services like WAF and SIEM

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure security
• Hands-on expertise in building automated detection and remediation workflows
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and O/S hardening practices
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) core services

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Chef, Salt, Ansible)
• Software development background
