You'll lead backend architecture for Artian's AI automation platform, designing scalable services and APIs for enterprise-grade autonomous agents. Your systems will enable reliable execution of business-critical workflows in regulated financial services. This role offers the chance to define the platform layer for agentic AI from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend architecture for the AI automation platform
• Build scalable services, APIs, orchestration systems, and workflow engines
• Design platform primitives for permissions, state, auditability, and observability
• Partner with AI/ML engineers to productionize agent capabilities

📋 Requirements

• Significant backend engineering experience with production systems
• Deep Python experience with strong software architecture fundamentals
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, or enterprise SaaS infrastructure
• Strong understanding of databases, async processing, observability, and cloud infrastructure

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building enterprise SaaS or workflow automation platforms
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or LLM applications
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
