💼 About This Role

You'll design and ship real agentic workflows for Altura's AI-powered bid management platform. You'll drive high-impact AI initiatives end-to-end, from prototyping to production, while shaping foundational AI platform components. This role offers ownership, speed, and real technical influence at a Series A startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deliver agentic workflows with context engineering.
• Drive architecture of production LLM/GenAI systems.
• Define and implement evaluation: offline + online metrics.
• Operationalize LLMOps: deployment, observability, and cost optimization.

📋 Requirements

• Extensive experience in AI/ML software engineering with multiple production launches.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (system design, testing, APIs).
• Proven experience with LLM application patterns (context engineering, embeddings).
• Hands-on experience building evaluation and monitoring for model quality in production.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience optimizing inference (caching, batching, routing).
• Experience building internal AI platforms (evaluation harnesses, prompt management).
