Description

You will work with a team of elite engineers to design, build, and activate critical production assets for the Starship launch vehicle, helping to enable rapid manufacturing and handling of the launch vehicle. This role involves collaborating with vehicle engineers, creating detailed models in NX, and supporting machine activation and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience using CAD software (Solidworks, NX, CATIA, or ProE)
• 1+ years of experience designing and/or analyzing mechanical structures
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel and work varying schedules

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and activate custom machinery and infrastructure for Starship production
• Develop the Starfactory of the future for rapid build and test
• Collaborate with vehicle engineers to influence vehicle design and manufacturing processes
• Perform structural sizing, mechanism design, hardware fabrication, and activation testing
• Create detailed models and engineering prints in NX, and perform hand calculations and analysis
