Description

You will design, prototype, and launch AI-powered features for geospatial analysis at Planet. You will own the end-to-end user experience for AI assistant tools, making satellite data accessible to a broad range of users. Your work directly contributes to Planet's mission of providing daily global information for a sustainable planet.

Requirements

• 10+ years designing complex digital products
• Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent
• Expertise in designing for technical, SaaS, or B2B products
• Proficiency with Figma/Adobe and design systems
• Experience with usability testing and user research

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design process for Geospatial AI interfaces
• Design intuitive LLM interfaces translating complex questions into actionable queries
• Define patterns for enabling verification of LLM outputs
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML models into platform features
• Collaborate with cross-functional team of researchers, data scientists, PMs, and engineers
