💼 About This Role

You'll join Plaid's Data Engineering team to build robust golden datasets powering insights products. Your work will directly enable business leaders to make faster, informed decisions using the data you build. You'll collaborate with all teams across engineering, product, and business.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design golden datasets based on product understanding and data usage principles.
• Lead key data engineering projects driving cross-company collaboration.
• Own core SQL and Python pipelines powering data lake and warehouse.
• Ensure data quality, performance, uptime, and usefulness.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of dedicated data engineering experience.
• Experience building data models and pipelines on petabyte-scale datasets.
• Proficiency with SQL and modern orchestration tools like DBT, Airflow.
• Experience with performant warehouses like Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with batch and realtime pipelines using Spark, Kafka.
• Familiarity with schema design on unstructured data.
• Excited to try new technologies and produce proof-of-concepts.
