Description

You will service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters at cell tower sites. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cooling systems, performing regular performance checks, and responding to service calls including emergencies. You'll work independently with extensive daily travel in the Arlington Heights, Illinois area.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and by email
• Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs; extensive daily travel; occasional overnights

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace HVAC components and systems
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Perform maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call outs
• Complete daily work reports accurately and on time
