Description

You will lead a multi-shift production team for SpaceX's chemical-intensive manufacturing processes, including wafer and ingot processing, deposition, and etching. Your role involves scaling operations from equipment setup through full production ramp, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You'll build talent pipelines, enforce operational standards, and collaborate with engineering to optimize equipment and drive metrics like yield and throughput.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM discipline, or 4+ years leadership experience in manufacturing
• 3+ years production operations or process development experience
• 2+ years experience in a leadership position
• Ability to travel up to 20% including internationally
• Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Manage a large team of supervisors, technicians, and associates on multi-shift schedule
• Ensure strong focus on safety and maintain excellent safety record
• Recruit, onboard, and develop leaders and individual contributors
• Create training/onboarding programs and career development paths
• Drive continuous improvement via metrics (yield, OEE, throughput)
