💼 About This Role

You'll own the database strategy and lead the MySQL and PostgreSQL estates for a high-impact tech evolution. Your work will bridge DBA and SRE, automating infrastructure and scaling event-streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and lead highly available MySQL and PostgreSQL environments
• Automate database management using Terraform, Ansible, and Python
• Manage scalability of Kafka and RabbitMQ for event-driven microservices
• Mentor teams on data infrastructure best practices and incident response

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in Senior DBA, DBRE, or data-focused SRE roles
• Expert-level MySQL and PostgreSQL including HA and replication
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python)
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience migrating bare-metal databases to cloud environments
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Zabbix, or Datadog
• Knowledge of Redis, Druid, Elasticsearch, or HAProxy
