💼 About This Role

You'll operate and execute experiments on Mainspring's Linear Generator as part of the test engineering team, working hands-on with a cross-disciplinary system. Your core impact involves validating reliability and qualifying new changes to accelerate product releases. You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines and travel up to 30% to our Houston test site.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operate Linear Generator units
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software teams
• Coordinate repairs and retrofits with technicians
• Analyze data and generate reports for engineering teams

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
• 3+ years of applicable experience with experimental hardware in industrial qualification or reliability testing
• Proficiency in Python/MatLab/C++ (at least one)
• Proficiency with DAQ devices and instrumentation/sensors
