Description

You will complete your externship in a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic with thoughtful mentorship and exposure to a variety of cases. Focus on patient care, work side by side with veterinarians, and use innovative technologies while attending internal educational events.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program
• Must be in a class that requires externship hours and/or skills

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants and remote nurse team
• Work side by side with veterinarians providing top-quality patient care
• Use innovative technologies and new medical equipment
• Attend internal educational events provided by Medical Operations Team
• Shadow appointments with credentialed veterinary technicians and educate pet parents
