Description

You will lead the data infrastructure organization powering League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, setting technical direction and partnering with cross-functional leaders to enable data-driven player experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in data engineering or related domains
• 4+ years leading data engineering teams, including 2+ years managing managers
• Strong expertise in Python, Java, or similar languages
• Deep grounding in CS fundamentals, system design, and algorithms
• Knowledge of data engineering best practices at scale

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineering managers and engineers, driving performance and career growth
• Define and communicate engineering vision, partnering with peer leaders for long-term planning
• Contribute to full employee lifecycle: budgeting, recruiting, hiring, coaching, mentoring
• Provide architectural and technical direction, improving engineering quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver scalable data solutions
• Stay current with industry trends and adopt best practices
