💼 About This Role

You'll participate in a veterinary externship program at a small animal practice, gaining hands-on experience under supervision. You will gather histories, perform exams, and assist in surgeries to build your clinical skills. You'll develop communication and technical skills while contributing to patient care.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Gather patient histories under mentor supervision
• Perform physical examinations and develop diagnostic plans
• Scrub in to surgery and assist in medical case management
• Provide wellness care and produce medical records (SOAPs)

📋 Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited DVM program
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must carry professional liability insurance (AVMA PLIT)
