You will perform field inspections of roads, bridges, drainage structures, utilities, trails, and other critical public infrastructure. This is a monitoring and oversight role focused on observing construction activities, documenting findings, and reporting compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and safety practices
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in PDF, Microsoft Office, and email software
- Willingness to travel to job sites and work nights/weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspections of transportation and infrastructure projects
- Document findings and report compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Monitor quality control and safety compliance on construction sites
- Collaborate with contractors, municipalities, and project managers
- Identify potential issues early and address them before escalation
