Description

Provide virtual gender-affirming care to trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse patients in Alberta. You'll prescribe hormones, perform surgical assessments and referrals, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve access to care and reduce wait-times.

Requirements

• CPSA license in good standing
• CMPA coverage for practice in Alberta
• Interest in gender-affirming care

Responsibilities

• Working with patients from across Alberta to access gender-affirming care
• Supporting gender journeys through hormone prescribing and surgical referrals
• Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a psychotherapist to ensure high-quality care
• Reducing wait-times for trans and nonbinary folks in Alberta
• Advocating for system changes to better support trans and nonbinary people
