Description

You will own a European power market stack for our Forward Power desk, connecting short-term dynamics across day-ahead to year+3. This is a highly commercial role where you'll convert data into trading insights and work closely with engineering to ensure reliability.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of European power markets and short-term regimes
• Strong Python and SQL skills for reproducible cloud pipelines
• Strong analytical judgement and data quality discipline
• Commercial mindset to explain drivers and turn analysis into trade conviction
• Ownership mindset suited to fast-paced trading environment

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end stack
• Build and maintain canonical data models for European power markets
• Convert data into explicit drivers of spreads and implied flows
• Develop feature layers linking fundamentals
• Translate trading questions into durable analytics, monitoring, and research inputs
