Description

You will focus on improving existing and commissioning new metal processing equipment, driving process efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your work will directly impact quality, uptime, and throughput in a high-volume production environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a controls engineer or similar role
• Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, VFD, and other control systems
• Working knowledge of industry standards and codes such as NFPA, ANSI, ISO

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent quality and drive process efficiency in high-volume production
• Assist in commissioning new equipment and performing upgrades/retrofits
• Provide troubleshooting support to process maintenance team
• Reduce downtime, increase product quality, and improve process throughput
• Develop automated reports using Ignition to present historical data
