You'll act as the editorial quality owner of tech and AI news coverage, assigning and editing content across digital media properties. You'll track traffic and revenue metrics and contribute to editorial strategy conversations. This role offers remote work within a globally distributed team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform developmental, fact-checking, and copy editing on articles
• Provide written edits and feedback to staff and freelance writers
• Pitch article ideas and content updates regularly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on content initiatives

📋 Requirements

• Five years of experience writing and editing news
• Working familiarity with technology products and vendors
• Experience with generative AI tools for writing and editing
• Superior copyediting and proofreading abilities and American English conventions

✨ Nice to Have

• Degree in Journalism, English, or related field
• Knowledge of Google News and Google Discover publishing platforms
• Experience writing and editing for Google News/Discover
