Description

You will both self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of roadway projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive group growth. Your work will ensure high-quality engineering documents and compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering
• PE License
• Advanced knowledge of software for roadway design
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Experience in MicroStation required; Open Roads Design highly desirable
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Mentor and direct the advancement of the technical skills of staff while executing projects
• Manage technical elements of a project, including assessing analyses and approaches
• Ensure development of high-quality engineering documents
• Communicate technical progress and issues to Project Manager
• Adhere to internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking
• Contribute as a technical specialist or advisor
• Provide input into growth of the practice
• Perform, review, and manage technical analysis and design; ensure compliance with PQMP
• Work toward being a leading subject matter expert
