💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of extensive Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS EKS with Istio service mesh and ArgoCD GitOps. This technical leadership role requires both design and hands-on implementation to serve as the organization's authority on K8s and service mesh. You'll drive impact on core product delivery through a robust decentralized architecture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS
• Manage service mesh with Istio for traffic routing and observability
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Helm templates
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues with SRE and service owners

📋 Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem at scale
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, especially EKS
• Proficiency in Istio for service mesh management
• Experience with ArgoCD and Helm for GitOps and templating

• Experience with multi-cluster Istio multi-primary deployments
• Experience with supporting ML workloads on Kubernetes
