Description
You will run short, high-impact technical engagements for Stripe Terminal customers, focusing on hardware onboarding, SDK enablement, pilot validation, and operational readiness. Collaborate with TAMs and account teams to help customers move quickly from evaluation to reliable in-store acceptance, while surfacing learnings back to product and support.
Requirements
- 5+ years enterprise client-facing technical experience (implementation engineering, solutions engineering, TAM, or equivalent).
- Experience with point-of-sale hardware, contactless/EMV acceptance, or retail deployments.
- Hands-on experience with mobile (iOS/Android) or web SDKs for payments and ability to read/debug client-side code.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and webhooks; able to explain practical API usage to engineering teams.
- Practical troubleshooting skills for networking, device pairing, and cross-system payment flows.
Responsibilities
- Run focused technical engagements for Terminal customers: pilots, rollouts, SDK/hardware onboarding, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a technical augment to TAMs and Account teams with hands-on integration help, gap assessments, and runbooks.
- Guide customers through reader provisioning, pairing, SDK integration patterns (mobile/web), and cloud API usage.
- Diagnose and resolve in-person payment issues (connectivity, pairing, contactless/EMV, reconciliation signals), escalating appropriately.
- Produce concise customer-facing artifacts (integration checklists, runbooks, sample snippets) tailored to engagement outcomes.
