Description

As a Senior UX Engineer at ClickHouse, you will shape the future of database user experience by building intuitive, developer-first interfaces for cloud-based data management. You'll collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create responsive, performant UIs that make complex database operations feel seamless, working on a high-visibility initiative that simplifies how users interact with data systems at petabyte scale.

Requirements

• 6+ years frontend or full-stack development in data/infrastructure/tooling environments.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architectures.
• Experience with backend APIs (Node.js, Golang) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of developer workflows and empathy for user experience.
• Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design to translate ideas into high-quality interfaces.
• Implement end-to-end frontend features using React and TypeScript.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to surface metrics and performance insights.
• Uphold frontend best practices: code quality, performance, accessibility, maintainability.
• Mentor 1-2 engineers contributing to the UX initiative.
