Description

You will manage product sustainment in a production process, perform design updates on embedded electronics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous production and integrate new features. This role involves troubleshooting complex electrical/software issues and supporting sourcing teams with component management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience designing, testing, troubleshooting and sustaining complex embedded systems
• Experience with microcontrollers, Linux SOCs, Ethernet, communication busses (SPI, I2C), and power regulation
• Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage product sustainment in production with engineering improvements and cost reduction
• Own design updates of embedded electronics including schematic and PCB updates
• Work with cross-functional teams to perform product updates driven by new features or component obsolescence
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools
• Support sourcing teams with long lead and end-of-life component management
