Description

As an E-LAB Senior Associate at ALU, you will facilitate classes, coach students on entrepreneurial thinking, and help redesign the program. You'll collaborate with the entrepreneurship team and external ecosystems to nurture the next generation of African leaders.

Requirements

• Masters in relevant fields such as Entrepreneurship, Business, Education, Innovation, or leadership.
• Demonstrated experience founding, co-founding, or leading a startup or entrepreneurial initiative.
• Experience facilitating or leading workshops, classes, or programs in entrepreneurship or innovation.
• Experience supporting students, teams, or early-stage ventures.
• Proven ability to coordinate or manage programs and events.
• Experience in analyzing feedback and performance data to improve program design.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to integrate entrepreneurial teachings.
• Facilitate E-LAB classes and hold office hours to support student projects.
• Revamp and redesign the E-Lab program.
• Implement the E-Lab program in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship.
• Coach students on entrepreneurial mindsets and increase interest in entrepreneurship.
• Collaborate across ALU to evolve E-Lab as part of the student experience.
• Review Learning Management System reports to identify students needing intervention.
• Coordinate events and aspects of the E-Lab program.
• Ensure high program adoption and completion.
• Manage E-Lab’s social media platforms.
