💼 About This Role

You'll own legal review for product launches across Proton's suite of privacy tools, including Mail, VPN, Drive, Pass, and Calendar. Your core impact will be drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements and advising on GDPR compliance for a global user base. This role stands out because you'll also build the governance framework for AI features under the EU AI Act.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own legal review for product launches across all Proton products.
• Draft, negotiate, and close SaaS, vendor, and partnership agreements.
• Advise on GDPR compliance and handle data requests and regulatory inquiries.
• Build legal and governance framework for AI-driven features.
• Identify and fix gaps in contracts, templates, and compliance processes.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house, with tech exposure.
• Solid working knowledge of GDPR and EU data protection law applied in practice.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commercial technology contracts independently.
• Fluent in English; French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
