💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a Security Officer for Vast, supporting the development of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations at our Long Beach facility. You'll ensure a safe and secure environment through access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and enforcing security policies. This part-time role is key to maintaining professional security operations and supporting aerospace facility safety.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Verify visitor identity and issue badges.
• Conduct patrols of buildings and perimeters.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior.
• Escort vendors and contractors as needed.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card or ability to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to complete.
• Two or more years of security operations experience.

• Ability to de-escalate situations verbally.
• Prior BSIS training in de-escalation or report writing.
