Description

As a Software Engineer III on the Infrastructure team, you will own platform engineering responsibilities, building and maintaining the Internal Developer Platform to ensure services and infrastructure are scalable, reliable, and secure. You will architect critical systems, write production-grade Python and Java code, and support engineering teams with platform enablement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable service-oriented architectures
• Experience with high-availability distributed systems
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale services and infrastructure components
• Own critical systems including Hadoop, Presto clusters, Kubernetes infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Develop and deploy services to improve availability, usability, and observability
• Write, review, and debug production-grade code in Python and Java
• Design and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
• Implement observability solutions (metrics, logging, alerting)
• Contribute to infrastructure security and configuration management best practices
• Support engineering teams with platform enablement and troubleshooting
• Contribute to open-source projects when required
