💼 About This Role

You'll take ownership of Wakam's European commercial motor fleet portfolio, driving underwriting performance and strengthening broker relationships. Your core impact is ensuring profitable and sustainable growth across multiple jurisdictions. This role combines hands-on underwriting expertise with the ability to influence frameworks and governance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Underwrite new business and renewals across commercial motor fleet segments
• Monitor combined operating ratio and loss ratio, taking corrective actions
• Develop and refine fleet pricing models and underwriting guidelines
• Build relationships with specialist fleet brokers and MGA partners

📋 Requirements

• Motor fleet underwriting experience (significant, ideally insurer or MGA)
• Proven track record managing fleet portfolios across multiple European markets
• Experience underwriting large and complex fleet accounts with structures
• Strong command of Excel and familiarity with underwriting systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Power BI or similar BI platform experience
• Understanding of reinsurance structures (XL, quota share, aggregate covers)
• Familiarity with European motor insurance regulation
