You'll lead the design, analysis, and integration of precision optomechanical assemblies for space-based optical systems. You'll collaborate with optical and spacecraft engineering teams to solve thermal and structural challenges. This role offers hands-on prototyping and testing for the next generation of clean energy technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and analyze precision opto-mechanical assemblies for space systems
• Develop mechanical solutions meeting optical, thermal, and structural requirements
• Create detailed drawings and production instructions
• Perform structural and thermal analyses including FEA

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Optical Sciences
• 5+ years of experience in optomechanical engineering
• Expertise in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX) and tolerance analysis
• U.S. citizenship required for ITAR compliance

• Master's degree in related field
• Experience in aerospace or defense industries
