💼 About This Role

You'll join the Server Security team at MongoDB, building critical security features for a globally distributed database. Your work will directly impact data encryption, access control, and network security for over 60,000 customers. You'll apply distributed systems fundamentals to deliver core features in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and test new security features in a large C++ codebase
• Coordinate feature rollouts across engineering and cloud services teams
• Champion code quality and security best practices
• Solve technical issues in distributed systems and OS internals

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems
• Proficiency in a compiled language (C++, Rust, Go, Java, or similar)
• Understanding of modern computer architecture and internals
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• Experience with database internals
