💼 About This Role

You'll characterize and design superconducting thin films for photon detectors at PsiQuantum, a leader in fault-tolerant quantum computing. Your work will directly impact the development of million-qubit quantum systems using silicon photonics technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Perform data analysis using microscopic superconductivity models.
  • Implement scalable analysis methods for large-scale deployment.
  • Plan and execute experiments to diagnose film properties and device physics.
  • Design superconducting single-photon detectors using electrothermal models.

📋 Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze thin-film characterization data systematically.
  • Strong foundation in condensed matter physics.
  • Familiarity with BCS theory and/or Ginzburg-Landau theory.
  • Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering.
