You'll model financial workflows and build scalable accounting infrastructure to automate fund operations. Your work will help AngelList manage $170B+ in startup investments and power 13,000+ startups. Collaborate directly with accounting stakeholders in a tight feedback loop. No marketing fluff.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Model financial workflows from messy fund data into accurate automated systems.
• Build scalable accounting infrastructure for front-end reporting and back-end general ledger.
• Solve data integrity problems to produce audit-ready outputs across many funds.
• Collaborate with accounting stakeholders to turn manual processes into automated systems.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a back-end engineer with Ruby on Rails or similar MVC frameworks.
• Experience owning features end to end and working with frontend React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of financial workflows or eagerness to learn fund accounting and general ledger systems.
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
