Description

You will coordinate and submit regulatory license applications, manage renewals and maintenance, assist with US regulatory exams and inquiries, and support day-to-day activities focusing on digital assets licensing. This role ensures Stripe's licensed US and Canadian entities remain compliant and effectively manages regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Political Science, Economics, or related field
• 10+ years experience in financial services with significant payments experience
• Familiarity with money transmitter statutes, NMLS, BSA, and digital assets or lending
• Demonstrated familiarity with leveraging Generative AI and agentic workflows
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, regulators, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to state regulatory inquiries, filings, applications, renewals, surety bonds, and license maintenance
• Assist in managing regulatory exams and inquiries, monitoring implementation and closure of remediation items
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes, especially digital assets, and their impact on licensing and exam programs
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal/external partners, state agencies, consultants, and outside counsel
• Support end-to-end licensing, examination, and ad hoc inquiries in partnership with key stakeholders
