Description

You'll lead a small field crew performing troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of utility-scale solar farms. This role involves hands-on technical work and site leadership with 100% travel.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of utility-scale solar experience (solar farms/ground-mount systems)
• Experience leading crews of 4+ or acting as lead technician on-site
• Experience with megawatt-scale PV systems (not residential rooftop)
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (inverters, DC systems, power electronics)
• Working knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems including inverters and combiner boxes
• Perform testing: LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, IR scans
• Lead and direct 4+ field technicians on active solar farm sites
• Assign work, track progress, and ensure safety/quality standards
• Perform operations and maintenance on utility-scale solar plants
