💼 About This Role

You'll deliver rehabilitative programming services to incarcerated individuals as part of Amity Foundation's Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. You'll conduct group and individual sessions using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to support recovery. This role offers unique experience working within prison programs while contributing to community healing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions using evidence-based curricula.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with participants.
• Maintain accurate, confidential participant records and progress notes.
• Collaborate with CDCR and transition staff for reentry planning.

📋 Requirements

• 6 months experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD counselor.
• Current AOD certification recognized by DHCS or registration with BBS.
• Understanding of substance abuse causes, symptoms, and effects.
• Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite.
