Description

You will partner with Reliability, Platform, and Infrastructures teams to design and build the UX feedback loop between Reliability Engineering and all engineering teams at Airbnb, making it easier to understand production behavior and triage bugs and outages.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry engineering experience
• Experience building internal infrastructure UX, particularly in Data or Observability spaces
• Expertise in visualization of large amounts of data
• Strong collaboration with colleagues across multiple timezones
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, Typescript, React and related web technologies
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g. React, npm, webpack)
• Deep experience of understanding and solving engineering productivity pain points
• Solid engineering and coding skills with knowledge of data structures and asynchronous programming
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work outside comfort zone and show motivation for personal growth
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Reliability Experience, Incident Management, Observability, and Resiliency teams to design and develop high quality UX.
• Create high quality, tested pull requests and review others' designs and code.
• Build appropriate tests to ensure reliability and performance of software.
• Create and present design, product, and architecture documents.
• Stay up-to-date with latest industry trends in Web development and performance engineering.
