💼 About This Role

You'll own application, cloud, and detection security for a healthcare AI platform used in the most security-sensitive health systems. You'll design secure-by-default patterns and harden infrastructure against real threats, enabling enterprise trust and customer expansion. This is a builder role where you'll write code, lead cross-cutting security initiatives, and influence architecture company-wide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement secure-by-default patterns across backend and infrastructure.
• Own cloud security posture: IAM, network boundaries, secrets management.
• Build detection pipelines, alerts, and runbooks for incident response.
• Set technical security direction, threat model new products, influence designs early.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python, Go, or TypeScript).
• Proven experience in security architecture and systems hardening across cloud environments.
• Hands-on with vulnerability management and penetration testing.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at Principal level defining company-wide security North Stars.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP IAM, networking, and secure service design.
• Familiarity with modern security tools for detection, incident response, and automation.
