Description

You will lead indirect supplier management and SG&A cost reduction initiatives at SpaceX, working closely with Logistics to control costs, mitigate risks, and improve customer experience. This role involves project management, contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and data-driven analysis to drive value and partnerships with suppliers.

Requirements

• Advanced degree + 4 years, bachelor's + 6 years, or 10+ years in purchasing, contract negotiation, supply chain, or related fields.
• 1+ years experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Deep understanding of transportation processes and carrier cost models.
• Experience with logistics technology tools like ASN and TMS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute projects from planning to completion, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Analyze global supply chain dynamics and develop procurement strategies to balance cost and risk.
• Author contract documents with Legal and manage supplier performance to contract obligations.
• Negotiate to maximize value and cost savings while lowering risk.
• Manage preferred supplier relationships, develop improvement plans, and monitor KPIs.
