Description

You will architect QuillBot's intelligence layer, leading the evolution from AI tools to a unified agent-driven creative platform. You'll define orchestration systems for multi-step workflows and shape AI integration across product experiences, reporting to the VP of AI.

Requirements

• Served as primary architect of an intelligence layer, leading evolution to agent-driven platform
• Proven track record of shipping production agentic workflows under real user load
• Deep expertise in model stack, compute strategy, and agent execution model decisions
• Experience inheriting and reshaping an AI org to match velocity and scope of building
• Strong cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, and Design

Responsibilities

• Design and lead systems for intent recognition, task decomposition, and multi-step execution across product surfaces
• Establish standards for agent-native infrastructure and orchestration across a multi-surface application suite
• Lead R&D in multimodal AI (text and image), building on existing NLP strengths
• Drive shipping cadence for model updates, MLOps, and data pipelines in high-scale production
• Build and lead an integrated AI organization spanning R&D and Applied AI teams
