Description

As a CNC Machinist on the Ultra Precision Machining team at SpaceX, you will manufacture micron-level tolerance parts at production volumes using multi-axis CNC machines. This role involves setting up and operating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and working with complex blueprints.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 6+ months working in a production environment
• 6+ months experience handling or working with machined hardware
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and stand for 8+ hours

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines machining micron level tolerance parts at production volumes
• Maintain maximum machine uptime by troubleshooting off nominal issues
• Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
