Description

You will design and build software for SoFi's Digital Identity Platform, which collects and protects critical member data used across all products. You'll set coding standards, produce structured critiques of AI-generated architecture, and drive operational excellence while mentoring teammates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• 6-10 years of professional software development experience
• Advanced expertise writing code with clear, exemplary use of team's languages
• Demonstrated ability to identify architectural flaws in AI-generated code
• Experience with strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership

Responsibilities

• Design software for current and future business needs, promoting reusability and reliability
• Set coding standards including AI-assisted development best practices
• Critique AI-generated distributed system designs for race conditions, consistency, and failure handling
• Participate in strategic planning and resource prioritization representing the team
• Drive operational excellence by automating build, deployment, and maintenance
