You'll lead a team of 5 data engineers building real-time streaming pipelines for a global experience analytics platform. Your core impact is ensuring reliable, scalable data collection and storage for billions of user journeys. This role stands out for its blend of technical leadership and hands-on architectural influence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead a team of 5 software engineers on high-volume data streaming/storage.
• Support architectural decisions and review technical approaches.
• Collaborate to identify blockers and drive timely delivery of backend/data projects.
• Foster a collaborative engineering culture through rituals, career development, and hiring.

📋 Requirements

• Solid experience as a backend or data engineer in data-intensive environments.
• At least 2 years in engineering management with focus on team delivery and communication.
• Pragmatic approach to mentoring, 1:1s, goal setting, and career guiding.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure, Kafka, Scala, Go, ClickHouse, or Singlestore is a plus.
