Description

As a Workplace Technician at SpaceX, you will design, build, and maintain advanced manufacturing facilities. You'll perform routine building maintenance, support janitorial and hospitality staff, and operate various equipment like forklifts and cranes, contributing to the goal of making life multiplanetary.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical language in specifications, schematics, and blueprints
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times
• Experience with basic construction and facility maintenance
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate work trucks

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance (furniture assembly, painting, door repairs, flooring/carpet replacement)
• Aid janitorial and hospitality staff (moving furniture, equipment, garbage disposal with forklifts)
• Inspect and repair interior/exterior areas (walls, floors, fixtures, roofing, lighting)
• Support light demolition, basic construction, and furniture layout
• Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets; operate forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, boom lift, overhead crane
