You'll build on proprietary tracking and pose data to create metrics and models for NHL and NBA clients. Your models and analyses directly influence elite sports organizations' decisions. You'll work with data most researchers won't access for years.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and transform data sources into tables, features, and structures
• Develop, extend, and validate event-probability and athleticism models
• Build metrics and analyses for NHL and NBA client decisions
• Extract meaningful features from high-dimensional tracking and pose data

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years experience with sports tracking data and associated models
• Strong data science fundamentals including model data requirements
• Proficiency in Python or R with solid statistical foundations
• Proficiency in SQL for building and querying structured data

✨ Nice to Have

• Hockey analytics experience or familiarity with pose/skeleton data
• NBA front office experience or deep learning familiarity for basketball
